Direct Economic Impacts

Once construction has been completed, the project will generate approximately $1M in standard City fees, over $80,000 per year in property taxes and over $400,000 in annual hotel tax directly into the City’s General Fund. These fees will support transit development, the maintenance of open spaces, job creation, health programs, and schools and art programs throughout Novato.

The Novato Hotel project will support local artists and arts organizations in a variety of ways, including providing spaces on the property for exhibitions and events, as well as supporting their galleries via digital and social channels. The hotel will feature work from local artists in the guest rooms and several public spaces. Additionally, the project will contribute $xxxxx to public installations on the 4.5-acre parcel.

Furthermore, we anticipate participating in the community as major sponsors of the Town’s annual 4th of July parade, through Little League, high school and middle school sponsorships, monthly donations to the Novato School Fuel program, and in other ways.
