Golden State Properties was formed in 2014 with the conversion of the Comfort Suites Davis to the award-winning Holiday Inn Express Davis. GSP was selected to open the first newly designed Formula Blue Holiday Inn Express in California. The hotel is now an award-winning property with one of the highest guest satisfaction scores in the Intercontinental Hotel Group system.
Developers
Golden State Properties (GSP) is the developer for the Novato hotel project. A relatively newly formed development company with humble roots. The founders of the small boutique firm are a multi-generational owner, developers, and operators of various real estate holdings. Our current mission is to construct quality ground-up real estate. We work on behalf of our investors and have a proven record of accomplishment with many hospitality chains including IHG, Choice Hotels, Best Western, and Wyndham.
Currently, GSP is involved in various stages of planning, entitling, renovating, and constructing multiple types of real estate projects in Northern California. Including hotels, offices and multi-family developments in San Francisco, Marin, Sacramento, and Yolo Counties.

CSW Stuber-Stroeh is a world class Novato based engineering firm. They are providing all civil engineering for the Novato Hotel Project.

April Philips Design Works is a full-service Marin County-based landscape firm. They're providing top notch landscape architecture for the Novato Hotel Project. Some of their past work include Union Square SF and One Market SF.
