The current hotel design incorporates a multi-year process with a collaboration of the City Planners, Commissioners Neighborhood Groups, and Design Professionals. 

The Novato Hotel has gone through several revisions since inception. Our current proposed design reflects a severely reduced hotel that is more sensitive to its surroundings.

After much collaboration and input from the design review board and community members, we have dramatically changed the look and feel of the Novato Hotel. We feel the proposed architectural massing, articulation, and design are all now in line with the feel of The City of Novato and nearby neighborhoods. The materials used in the proposed hotel's architecture feature high-end cultured cast-stone, wood board & batten siding, smooth EIFS, wood trellis's and a standing seam metal roof. With design inspiration from the nearby Westin Napa , the hotel represents a one-of-a-kind hotel that cannot be found anywhere else in the region, this is not your typical cookie-cutter hotel by any means. his hotel represents our testament to the upscale community of Novato.
